The success of Buffalo Machinery at TIMTOS 2019

2019 Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS) was successfully rounded off on March 9th at four exhibition halls — TWTC Hall 1 and Hall 3, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 and Hall 2. This year, TIMTOS becomes the world’s 3rd largest machine tool show with 1,230 exhibitors and 7,000 booths joined this exhibition.  According to official information, TIMTOS attracted 7,511 foreign buyers in 2019 which was a 2.3% rise from 2017 and China, Japan, India, Malaysia, Russia, USA, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey and Egypt were the top ten sources of visitors to TIMTOS 2019. As overseas visitors continue to grow, the statistic from TAITRA shows that there was a significant increase in visitors from India and Russia, moreover, this was the first time that Egypt became the top ten countries contributing visitors. A growth in exhibition size and scale, and the number of visitors, TIMTOS established a new high record in the Taiwan exhibition’s history.

 

This year, TIMTOS highlighted “Industry 4.0” and “Smart Manufacturing”. With the trend of Industry 4.0, TIMTOS aims to provide integrated systems and digital solutions with machine tools for manufacturers to achieve automated production. As Industry 4.0 is the important part in TIMTOS, exhibitors demonstrated Industry 4.0 solutions, such as sensors, industrial robots and IoT to help users of machine tool to monitor machine and detect malfunction, with the integrated system, production lines can be more efficient and automatic.

 

Meanwhile, TAITRA organized the TIMTOS Summit to assist manufacturers to face the challenges form Industry 4.0 and topics included ‘Machine Intelligence and Iot’, ‘Additive Manufacturing’, ‘Automotive Manufacturing Revolution’ and ‘Innovation in Aerospace Manufacturing’. With the latest information from top executives and industry experts, TIMTOS Summit provided insightful information for attendees.

During the exhibition, 50 Buffalo’s global distributors visited Buffalo’s booth for business meeting. Additionally, about 600 visitors were attracted by Buffalo’s booth and around 80 potential distributors and end-users visited the booth, all of them were highly interested in AXILE G series (High-Speed 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center) and V series (High-Speed Vertical Machining Center) and the total solution for AXILE products, ARTTM System. Buffalo Machinery also exhibited Microcut at the booth, including M1050 (Vertical Machining Center), BNC-2660 (The double box way flat-bed lathe) and LD-65 (Twin-Spindle Single-Turret Slant-Bed Lathe), which provided different product lines for visitors when considering a high-quality machine tool.

 

Since Industry 4.0 has a great impact on the machinery industry, with innovation and evolution, Buffalo Machinery will continue making technological progress and walk towards smart manufacturing.
